About me

I am an Ecuadorian filmmaker passionate about telling stories of nature and humans. The main goal of my work is to show that we are part of the natural world and to have a positive impact in the conservation of Ecuador’s biodiversity and culture.

I have worked in biology research, filmmaking, photography and conservation projects throughout my country, from the Galápagos Islands, passing through the Andes glaciers, and into the Amazon jungle. I have directed and co-directed several documentaries filmed in Ecuador, featuring local stories where humans and nature intertwine.

I recently graduated from the master’s in Wildlife Filmmaking at the University of the West of England, Bristol. I am currently working as a filmmaker freelancer and as the managing director and co-founder of the non-profit organization Amazon Research & Conservation Collaborative (ARCC).
